A Quick Note On Ankle Socks

Everybody needs socks. It doesn’t matter who you are, if you don’t wear socks your feet wont like you. And that’s a fact. Anyone that ever walked a serious distance without socks in their shoes should know what I’m talking about here. Socks or ankle socks for that matter protect your feet, they can absorb your sweat coming from your feet so it won’t bother you.

You can wear ankle socks in a lot of situations but I would refrain wearing them in some. For example, you got to keep an important business presentation at work, you dress up in your suit and you look stunning. The moment you sit down though people see your ankles, not covered by any fabric because you are wearing ankle socks. This looks anything but professional, so in a suit definitely go with regular socks.

This is just a limited example of course that only affects a few people. However it is the only example I can come up with as there is just nothing wrong with ankle socks. Also, black ankle socks are always better than white ankle socks. I’m a guy myself and I wear them plenty of times (with positive reactions from the ladies, so gentlemen you know what to do).

The answer to above question comes down to preference. Everyone has a preference for something on all subjects. A reason why someone would prefer ankle socks over regular socks differs from person to person of course but there are some general reasons;

• Ankle socks look more fashionable

• If you are wearing shorts, a skirt or a dress you may not want people to see your socks, ankle socks are great for this.

• Ankle socks are shorter than regular socks and may help in reducing the sweat you produce when walking.

Ankle sock can be worn by anyone, both male and female. Often I hear questions from men wanting to wear ankle socks but are afraid to do so. They usually come with questions as “wouldn’t these ankle socks make me look girly?” The answer is quite simple, just two letters; “no”. Mens ankle socks do not make men look girly what so ever, if you feel unconfident wearing them then don’t. But there is simply nothing wrong with wearing ankle socks.

In case you didn’t let me rephrase a bit here. Socks are important, we all know that. They protect your feet and wearing them is more comfortable then wearing nothing at all around your feet. Ankle sock can be worn by both male and female and there is nothing wrong with wearing these type of socks. There are different reasons as to why someone would prefer ankle socks but the general reason is for the looks and comfort. You may not be able to wear ankle socks in any situation, but those are quite rare.
