How to get rid of pimples
54Imagine yourself having a date tomorrow. It’s a date with the love of your life and if everything goes well tomorrow, you’ll have a great future. But what’s this when you wake up? You look in the mirror and there it is, a big red pimple just mocking you. This can happen to anyone and shouldn’t be a big deal if you know how to deal with it. In this hub I will tell you all about how to get rid of pimples.
I will give you a list of tips on how to get rid of pimples and some may or not work, it really depends on the person but I’m sure that there must be at least one tip that can help you out in any way. Getting rid of pimples can be quite a struggle if you don’t know what you’re doing and can ultimately result in scars, which are much worse than a simple pimple(no pun intended).
Whatever you do when you discover a pimple on your face don’t ever scratch, pinch or squeeze the pimple. If you do anything of the above, it might result in getting a permanent scar. Also, by touching the pimple like that it will only make the pimple be more red and swollen. There’s also a risk to spread the bacteria which can result in even more pimples across your face.
In order to decrease the swelling, wrap an icepack in a towel and hold it against the pimple for about 2 minutes. Repeat this every 30 minutes for as long you feel necessary. This can also decrease pain and inflammation that can come with pimples.
When you discover a pimple five minutes before your date then there is no way to get rid of it in time. At times like this it’s a good idea to grab a concealer and hide the pimple. This is only a very temporary solution to your problem though and the pimple will certainly not become invisible.
Cleaning your skin is very important, especially if you want to get rid of that pimple. Try to cleans your skin about two to three times a day with either soap or an acne cleanser. When you’re done cleansing the skin it’s time to scrub. You can use a washcloth or an exfoliating pad, be careful though, you should scrub light and don’t push too hard. This can take away natural oils that are within your skin.
The quickest fix to get rid of pimples is to get a small amount of toothpaste and apply it to the affected area on your face. The best time of the day is to do this right before you go to bed and it will help alleviate the irritation and will also reduce the inflammation. To reduce swelling and redness you can also get a cotton ball or a wet tea bag with a small amount of lemon juice, just press and hold it on the spot for about five minutes.

nice tips! I'd be careful with the tooth paste though and see it as the ultimate last resort. Some toothpastes contain ingredients which can help, some others just irritate the skin even further
A good long-term solution to pimples is to make some dietary changes and limit your sugar and carbohydrate intake.
