You know when you go to a furniture shop and you see a special section with beds. It is almost like a room by itself, it has the bed covered in nice and fancy bedsheets, 2 one drawer night stands at both sides, most likely with a lamp and a book on one of them and a mirror and a dresser on another side of the area. These are what we would call as bedroom sets. They are basically the first thing that you would buy for your bedroom.

Some people think that they can save up by purchasing cheap bedroom sets. This may be fine for now, but if later on you cannot stand it as you see more modern bedroom sets that are way more sleek and posh than what you currently have. Then buying two instead of one is not exactly saving up right?

Or what about buying everything one by one. Like maybe the bed first, and then later the night stands. But then what if you cannot find pieces that match your bed frame or the style. Sets are made exclusively to makeup a single theme or collection, unless you chose classic designs then it you would have to settle for mismatched sets then.

There are so many choices out there, surely, you would find something that would suit not only your budget, but also your style. One of the most popular are the contemporary bedroom sets. These sets are usually made of real wood veneers with a dark wooden finish. It has very minimalist details with modern touches like metal hardware in a glossy or matte finish. A set of drawers on the headboard, or at the side of the bed. It can also be made of upholstered black leather for a sleek touch.

Platform bedroom sets on the other hand are probably more suitable for a younger member of the family. These beds are elevated from the floor which leaves space for your things, or extra drawers underneath. There may also be an option of having trundle bed frames where you can pull out an extra mattress from under if you have guests, or simply use it as a daybed instead. It gives you more storage options and at the same time saves up on space because you only expand it when you need it.

Basically, bedroom sets should include the main bed frame and two side night stands on each side. Other pieces would vary according to brand, some might have a mirror and vanity chair instead of a dresser or they could have both.
