I’ve been looking into some different types of weight loss tea. I stumbled upon it when I was searching for some weight loss tips on the internet because I have a few pounds too many myself. I never heard of weight loss tea before so I decided to do some research.

I have found that there are three different types of weight loss teas. They are:

• Green Tea
• Oolong Tea
• Pu Erh Tea

I have been drinking green tea for a while by now because I know It’s good for the body. But I bet just like me you have never heard of the other two before. The last one even has a serious Chinese name, so that must work for sure.

Green Tea

The greatest benefits of green tea are that they increase your metabolism so you burn the fat faster without doing anything. Sounds great. If you drink about five cups of green tea per day it will also release your carbs slowly into your body. That is truly excellent if you ask me.

Oolong Tea

Oolong tea, what the heck is that you may ask. It’s a Chinese weight loss tea. It is also called Wu Long Tea and it will help you lose weight as well. That is because it boosts your metabolism just like the green tea. It increases your energy, and it blocks fat absorption. How it does all that, I have no idea. But it sure does sound great. Another plus of this tea is that it gets rid of excess body water. You can see that change on the scale very fast, although you didn’t burn any fat. Still your weight is down a bit.

Pu Erh Tea

The latter of the three, I present to you: Pu Erh Tea. I really got no clue how you would pronounce that so thank god for the internet. I believe this is not really a weight loss tea but it really is one of the healthiest. People in China drink this tea regularly and it is supposed to help you age older. The tea is high in anti oxidants (more than green tea). It’s filled with probiotics, a very good and friendly bacteria, also found in yogurt. But to all those cons prepare for a big neg! The tea is absolutely disgusting. I know flavor differs from person to person but man, I know I won’t set another pot of this kind.

In A Nutshell

There you have it some great weight loss tea facts. Let’s go over them briefly. Green tea is a great tea to lose weight, it boosts your metabolism and also it releases your carbs slowly. Oolong tea, or Wu Long tea is the best weight loss tea. It Increases metabolism, increases your energy, gets rid of excess body water and it blocks fat absorption. This is your best bet. Pu Erh Tea isn’t really a weight loss tea but more a very healthy kind of tea. It is very rich in anti oxidant, high in probiotics, and very disgusting.

Remember these kinds of tea do help in losing weight, but only if you are eating the right foods. You can’t expect any results from these if you go to Mc D three times a week. So get your nutrition in order and start drinking some easy weight loss tea for fantastic weight loss results!

Indeed green tea is one of the best ways to lose weight. It accelerates your metabolism and also helps you get rid of hunger. Better drink green tea instead of a soft drink or any other drink with sugars and fat

Great hub! I love green tea and drink it daily. It's great for weight loss but also contains antioxidants and can help prevent certain cancers and heart disease.

Wow the names of these teas are quite wacky! I didn't realise Green Tea was supposed to help you lose weight. I will try it in place of regular tea some time. I don't think I know what it tastes like yet...
